Latest Inca jumper!

Sooo...I've been cheating on blogging with promoting!

New Inca Jumper...

My project for the last week...

My mom brought me up repeatidly telling me "You can't give to one without the other!" - referring to the fact I could'nt have anything without my brother having it too!ha

This is the reason why I knew that once it was known that I had done one half of Inca a one-off jumper, I HAD to to do the other half!ha.....not that I'm complaining, I love making/customising but only when its for someone I like, and doing something I like...

Inca jumper...one of a kind!

I enjoy customising or sewing geerally but mostly when its for a good friend...Lately I haven't posted much as I've been working my fingers to the bone on this piece....Sometimes I'll get an idea and I just have to run with it, it literally consumes my every thought and I can't wait to get home each day and work on it....

2 Roads, 1 Destination - JNR & Enz

Finally...flowing through my headphones as I type, the highly anticipated mixtape from JNR & Enz of Inca Recordings - “2 Roads, 1 Destination.”

Opening with the infamous Don Williams quote;

“The road of life twists and turns, and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”  

This quote sets the foundations for the combination of two artists and two sounds that merge into powerful perfection. Wordplay, personality, personal experience, feelings and one of this years biggest hits sampled, blend over multiple  sounds - some a little grimey,  some soulful, and some ard’ for the neck jolters!

My favourite tracks are Holla – Easily a hit in anybody’s eyes! Real talk over Claudia Jessie’s beautiful voice and an instrumental soulful beat!

Shutdown – Eeeeery dark beat, the chorus will make you whine!

Search through my past blogs and you will hear my belief in these two artists. Every mixtape released shows growth and strength in their sound. Their music progressively gets deeper, and their dedication is laid on the table with an ace high royal flush. JNR has also produced a number of the tracks proving his enviable talent.
