This week I caught up with Birmingham's hottest beautician 'Sam', with her flawless skin, her luscious locks and her all round knowledge of beauty and the industry she is the perfect women to do the job.

Catching Sam between her busy working schedule at hush hair and beauty in Birmingham was extremely tricky, yet when I did, I had an intriguing few minutes asking her the questions that we all want to know.

What made you get in to the beauty industry?.

Sam- I wanted to help people feeling better about themselves and leave me also feeling great.

What did you have to do to become a qualified beautician and where did you train?.

Sam- A three year NVQ level two and course three in beauty therapy at college of food, tourism and creative studies.

What is your working schedule like?.

Sam- I work late nights and some weekends so it can be tiring but its worth it.

The question we all want to know, do you get to do treatments on yourself if your not busy in the salon?.

Sam- When i do get the time i do have treatments to maintain my appearance, it also inspires confidence in my clients.

What do you do to keep up with that flawless glowing skin?

Sam- Daily cleanse, tone and moisturise combined with regular exfoliation is the key.

What treatment would you recommend to us and why?.

Sam- Facials, its nice to reduce peoples skin concerns a s relax them at the same time.

What is the most popular treatment that people in Birmingham have done?.

Sam- Waxing, it needs to be done every four to six weeks, Brazilians are the most popular.

Do a lot of men come in to the salon?.

Sam- A lot of men have always had waxing however facials and manicures are becoming increasingly popular.

What are your hopes for the future?.

Sam- To keep enjoying my job, I want to expand my knowledge in to beauty and advanced ways of beauty therapy.

Any advice for us bloganistas?

Sam - Have a good skin care routine and regular treatments at hush hair and beauty. A manicure or eye brow shape will have you feeling amazing in no time.
