I've said it all before but heres a little refresher...!!!
JNR and Enz are two mc's from Birmingham who came out of the flourishing garage scene of the late 90's. They enhanced their skills performing on local pirate radio stations such as Passion FM, Delight FM and Destiny FM along with DJ Vibez. Moving onto other genres such as grime, funky house and hip hop in latter years, JNR and Enz have established themselves as two of Birmingham’s most promising artists, releasing solo mixtapes such as Enz's “Daytime Drama”, “Semi Auto-Michael”, “Super F.L.O” & his latest release “E's Back”. JNR also boasts a healthy line up releasing his solo mixtape “Back in the Booth” and gaining airplay across the nation on Galaxy FM with his hit single “Blue and White”.
Together they have recently released their joint mixtape; “2 Roads, 1Destination”, boasting different genres of music, and delving into lyrical matters of love, life and their music! Forming this duality they are become members of the SuperCloud Gang under Inca Recordings and plan to continue bringing the freshest music to the UK scene, expanding worldwide!
Releases from the mixtape include “Holla” ft Claudia Jessie, proving popular on social media and YouTube with views flying in! Videos for “Limelight” and “Lemonade” have also been masterfully produced and have spread the internet like wildfire.
One of the SuperCloud Gang’s members latest triumphs is in their hit single “Swagga So Cold”. It has been featured on prime time TV, BBC2’s comedy drama “Vexed”. All videos available on YouTube, just search the JNR & Enz and the song name)
Their latest release from the mixtape is a sign of what’s to come. Not only has it been produced and edited by the Inca team and the mc’s their selves, but the video for “That’s where I’m from” is a firm stamp on the mc’s pride in their hometown. Filmed and featuring local areas in Birmingham, including their local football team, the video is a homage to their abilities to put the work in every area of their music, including producing, editing, promoting and styling amongst a few. The age of a mere artist is gone, and this pair are willing to put the work in!
