Just a little postie in case you missed it, you're either not on Twitter/Instagram or you were in a coma???

The collection was unleashed onto the LFW crowd on Saturday night and will go on sale in store on the 5th March. To which I'm sure you will have to queue up overnight and wrestle a few wanna-Rih's, but hey is thats your passion, go for it, just don't get arrested...that my friends, will never be in style!

And just because this site doesnt allow anything between X-Large & original size heres a few .... to allow you to see the bigger picture...pun intended!

To me, the collection is very Rihanna, in that the items are in some senses simple enough to be worn from morning till night. They can be styled up and down with accessories and jewellery galore, one of Rihanna's style patents...add a hat, some gold chains, a bunch of rings and away she goes - and she looks damn fine too!

Bandanas have been popular for some for years,mainly during the 90's, but have made a few appearances more so in the past few months with celebs rocking the grungey or 90's style...Rihanna creeps them into her general daywear styles and Aaliyah never used to be spotted without one!

Ok so we all know I loves me a bit of Rihanna...

This Bahan loves herself a bit of London me thinks, and although I would love for her to love Birmingham more I don't think we quite have as many intriguing shops to entise her...not that thats all she's about, but for most women that the hook,line & sinker! As soon as Birmingham (hopefully) has more to offer on the boutique, bewildering and bespoke front then maybe, just maybe, will I give Robyn a call and offer to take her out on the town..maybe a nice afternoon shopping, grab a bite to eat, and then a few drinks, hahaha yeah right...we wouldn't just have a few drinks! haha

Anyway out of the dreamworld where Rihanna is my friend, and asks me to be part of her styling entourage...(would love it!) Heres a few pics of the icons ensembles while she has been in London....I love every single one, some just parts and others in entirety....

Rihanna will be on Jonathon Ross on Saturday 3rd March along with Michael Ball, Imelda Staunton and Lionel Ritchie - NOT to be missed, if not for the outfir for any comments regarding her recent releases and the riducous amount of rumours of late!

Its my birthday soon...

Its my birthday and i'll whine (as in dance) if I want to!

Finding a dress, or outfit of any kind these days is almost impossible for me, they are always too "samey" or cheap looking or way way WAY out of budget...yes, I do dream of one day owning something in Vogue, I'm talking multiple digits when I say out of budget!!! What can I say I'm fussy!!!

So for the past year or so I hav made of ALOT of my going out ensembles, or customised a classic little number...there is nothing better than when someone says;

"I love your ----- , where did you get it?"

Anywho, back to my original trail of thought, its my birthday soon and I have planned (and started) making a skirt to go with  my "old faithful" black top....great on the budget front and if all goes well it will look good...(fingers crossed) see what you can make out!

A few of my customisations or complete creations...I'm no Chanel seamstress but I'll give it a go!ha ;)

One of my favourite dress ever! - was a long vintage dress with a flared hem, cut and sewn and boobtube added and wall-ah! LOVE!

A complete stich-up...it took me two attempts to make this...any-who no piccys of me in it, just one of my backside at Faraz's at the end of the night which I guessed no-one would like to see!!!haha

Not really too much of my creation, the cape I'm wearing is an A-mazing vintage petitcoat but has the smallest arms you will ever see, so I temporarily converted it into a cape for a wedding, instant coverage to remain demure!ha

Rihanna got me dreaming of colour blocking the day she rocked the pink crop and orange troos, another instance when I could'nt find what I wanted in the shops, so I literally wore fabric! Works for me....(Well, hopefully : s)

An oldie...a couple New Years back I went shopping with my friend Jenna to Cow, and found a really gordy dress, and here's me wearing it!!!haha With the help of my mom, we changed the skirt to angular shape rather the stiff floppy mess it was before and turned it from 80's trash to a piece I loved, not many would but thats my style all over, its marmite....

An classic white dress from ASOS I couldn't resist studding down the back, a copy from a black dress I did earlier last year...Don't mind the pics, my face looks awful!

A dress I customised for the stall but doesn't look great on me...candy colours creep up the back of the dress and back down the right arm....perfect for this seasons candy trends!

Rum pum pum pum!!!!!

As a women, near enough every action you take is a double edged sword, and near enough everyone has their own opinion on whether you encourage or provoke certain behaviour...but really who are we to judge anyone but ourselves. Why do some people scream outright when a strong woman like Rihanna makes a video thats thought provoking and inspirational - I doubt very much, in fact I know shes not sending a message to women, or men, that if in one way or another you are abused to commit murder, she's merely telling "a" story, pushing the music boundaries, and instigating your brain into action to GET OUT if you are in that position too....Hell, theres probably a heap of other meanings behind it - but you or I are not Rihanna, or the director, the producer, or the editor, so why are you critising - is it because you don't understand?


Im pretty sure backaday artists from Bob Marley, Elvis to Prince were shunned for being too sexual or promoting "taboo" subjects, glorifying this and that, all that bull'ish - its expression all the less, and its liberating, if a sculpter created a piece about rape it would be praised and probably awarded - but when an artist does it, because you don't like their music or understand it - its "sending the wrong message" - Open your mind and maybe you'll see the right message.


When you think about it, if you havent been scrutinised for your actions, you havent really made it? Most the biggest stars have, and lets face it sexuality is out there on the cards nowadays so all Rihanna's doing is showing you the depths behind the doors that not many have sang successfully before...




I love this video more than any other I've seen in a long time....and on a less serious angle, most artists do videos in the caribbean and look like they "bought" people into the video...Rihanna looks like she's still part of the scene....The videography is amazing....and she looks ridiculously good!
