Embellish in me...

I am loving embellishment right now and I'm hoping it'll hold out long enough for my birthday without being the played out trend....my hope is its a little too much for people, at least the way I'd rock it! See if you can see how I plan to make an outfit from these inspirational piccys!

Baroque

I'm out for my "once in a  blue moon" outing this weekend, and am very much inspired by Dolce and Gabbana's A/W 2012 ready to wear line....love!!!

This is how I'll put an inspired piece together with my ol' faithful lace dress(similar to the D&G one pictured)....my Carvela Ambrosia platforms, some MAC essentials, heavy gold anklet and my latest find - baroque handbag!!!

I couldn't find much reference to baroque style jewellery in the time I had on lunch, so I'll just post a picture of my ensemble when I'm in it, complete with baroque jewellery I'm going to make myself! (if I have time?)

New Inca Jumper...

My project for the last week...

My mom brought me up repeatidly telling me "You can't give to one without the other!" - referring to the fact I could'nt have anything without my brother having it too!ha

This is the reason why I knew that once it was known that I had done one half of Inca a one-off jumper, I HAD to to do the other half!ha.....not that I'm complaining, I love making/customising but only when its for someone I like, and doing something I like...

I enjoy customising or sewing geerally but mostly when its for a good friend...Lately I haven't posted much as I've been working my fingers to the bone on this piece....Sometimes I'll get an idea and I just have to run with it, it literally consumes my every thought and I can't wait to get home each day and work on it....

My shoe woe....

Over the past few weeks I have found a diet that has been working for me , can someone say MIRACLE! But finding the shoes I plan on treating myself to when I reach my initial target is even harder!!!

I have searched everywhere including Christian Louboutin (LOVE but the odd pair I want are £1000+ or they are older rarer pairs you CANNOT find, those pesky celebs keep them tucked away!), YSL, Topshop, Kandee, Net-a-Porter, River Island, Guiseppe Zanotti, Alexander McQueen, ASOS, Nicholas Kirkwood, Kurt Geiger, Brian Atwood, Zara…*gasps for air….and anywhere else you may think of! I havent included the DP’s or New Look’s of the highstreet as although they may do some nice designs, this is a treat and they wouldn’t feel AS precious…I am going to look if any of the below aren’t around when I reach target though ; ) Hey I don’t discriminate!ha

Anywho, back on track, the challenge of finding a pair of going “out out” heels seems to have become near on impossible. Is it because the designs are soooooo samey or just too much? Or have my tastes changed? Here are the few I have found that I do like (I think)….lets see how I feel when I get there ….Initial target is 17 pounds away! I have literally just scraped over half way point…Lets do this!!!!

River Island - £55 – Like the simple shape but am I going to cut of my ankles…hhmmmm

Guiseppe Zanotti - £585 – Unsure whether I really do like these or not?

Guiseppe Zanotti - £450 – classic colour, simple peeptoe…too simple to be a treat though???

Love this dress...sometimes a zip detail can be oh so tacky but I love this...

Henna beginning...

Over the weekend I sourced some Henna and started practicing...I have never been able to resist getting it done wheneve possible. I decided to mix it up a little and drew rosary beadsround my wrist with the traditional pattern over my fingers...what do you think?

Im going to do my palms next! Nothing like a little experimenting, and its so easy!

P.S I did take a few "after" piccys of the design but as I'm at work there isn't any pretty background for the picture and although the dye colour is left a beautiful orange, its doesn't show up too well in this fluorecent lighting!

H&M nail polishes...LOVE!

I have always liked the colours that H&M have produced n their nail polish collections....you may have seen my previous post with claw inspired nails in electric blue (j'adore).

My new crush is this vivid Teal blue. Great value. Great colour.

So Iggy Azalea has been signed to Wilhelmina International Inc...appreciating her stature and amazing hips!

Azalea was supposably (I only say supposably as I don't know for fact, not in the sense of being bitchy, i like her!) previously scouted by Elite Model Management, who told her to loose 4 inches of her hips...Well, ok? What should she do, carve them off? This isn't a Saw pre-quel!?

I love the versatility of her look, both edgy and natural.

I LOVE this Gucci dress worn by Emma Stone...

I have always appreciated gothic detailing, strangely I find it romantic...I think because romance to me is deep, endearing and intense.I love the sheer draping over the split, the sleeves and the detailing worked into a neckline almost like a necklace, its intricately beautiful.
