Finally...flowing through my headphones as I type, the highly anticipated mixtape from JNR & Enz of Inca Recordings - “2 Roads, 1 Destination.”
Opening with the infamous Don Williams quote;
“The road of life twists and turns, and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”
This quote sets the foundations for the combination of two artists and two sounds that merge into powerful perfection. Wordplay, personality, personal experience, feelings and one of this years biggest hits sampled, blend over multiple sounds - some a little grimey, some soulful, and some ard’ for the neck jolters!
My favourite tracks are Holla – Easily a hit in anybody’s eyes! Real talk over Claudia Jessie’s beautiful voice and an instrumental soulful beat!

Their music progressively gets deeper, and their dedication is laid on the table with an ace high royal flush. JNR has also produced a number of the tracks proving his enviable talent.
